His work was significant because it is a well known type of photography. Whithout decicive moments people would't be able to take a picture at just the right time.
What Camera/Technique did he use?
He used the Leica camera. What he did was wait at a certain spot, wait for any action to happen then take a picture. He would do this all day until he took just the right picture.
What is a Decisive Moment?
A decisive moment is when you wait a specific spot for a long time to take a picture of an action at the right moment.
How does the Camera he used make it happen?
His camera was both compact which can be used to take anywhere, it had the view finder to the left of the camera so he can see what he is taking a picture of and it had a fast shutter to take lots of pictures quickly.
